| The 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grade Awards Assembly will start at 8:45 on June 2nd in the Parkside Gymnasium. The 8th grade students will be dismissed after practice to get ready for Graduation. The Doors open at 6:00 P.M. on June 2nd. Seating is on a first come, first serve basis. There is not a limit to the amount of people a graduate can invite, but graduates are advised to use discretion as it is usually very crowded. Reserved seating for those with special needs is available upon request. Please call the Parkside School office (815-223-7723) before May 24th to arrange for special seating. Parents of the graduating students will sponsor a dance after the ceremony. The dance will be held from the end of the ceremony until 11:00 P.M. in the cafeteria. Snacks, prizes, and entertainment will be provided for the graduates. Each family has been asked to contribute $25.00 to help with the party. The donation will buy the graduates' gift, food, decorations, music, etc. |

The Jade Muylle Memorial Award is the most coveted scholastic award at Peru Washington School. It is presented to the 8th grade student earning the highest academic grade point average in the graduation class.
